OUR PROJECTS

Douglas County Master Gardeners Association(DCMGA) volunteer in over twenty projects throughout our county. We currently provide content knowledge instruction in at least six elementary schools; plant and maintain all of the Roselyn Carter Butterfly gardens in Douglas County; keep up the Nature Trail that begins at the court house; sustain the DCMGA greenhouse (outdoor plant beds  as well as seeding, and propagating inside the greenhouse.). You may also see us volunteering at UGA Extension booths.

Fun Fact: Did you know that, Milkweed is the soul host plant to the monarch butterfly's caterpillar.
